A THOUSAND ARMS
A Thousand Arms. The name comes from Thousand Armed Guan Yin, the Chinese Boddhisatva or Goddess of Mercy,  who is often depicted with a thousand arms to help the suffering and the original form of the Chinese name means 'Paying attention to cries (for help)'. This blogstream focusses on the people in this world who are victims of organized abuse. Let us listen to their cries for help.
My Purpose

To raise awareness of the plight of victims of acts of cruelty by people who are a part of a powerful organization which inflicts harm on others. These organizations may be governmental, criminal or commercial. Their acts are often kept secret through bribery or manipulation of news media. Those with the power to arrange these incidents also have the power divert the attention of news media, so they are less known than other forms of abuse.

An organization is no more than a group of people with a common purpose. For some, the desire for power in itself is the driving force.  In the case of Government organizations the motivations are fear and power and if all that we hear is true money is also implicated at the highest level in modern government. This dangerous combination is what drives America and other countries to inflict torture and employ weapons indiscriminately. Money is the most common motive for heinous crimes committed by criminals and corporations.

These powerful people could implicate you in their crimes. If you are a citizen of a country that does any of these things or an employee of a company that pays people to carry them out, you are implicated. Just because you sit in an office in New York or London is no reason to think your hands are clean. What are you buying for your company and where are you buying it from? Might you be selling products originating in a piece of jungle that used to provide a living for a tribe of indians that was savagely evicted by armed thugs?

It would be wonderful to try to help everyone who can be called 'victim' here but it is too big a job for me at the moment. I choose not to publicise the abuse inflicted on a person to person level here. I will not deal with the suffering of animals either. Those missions are best dealt with by others and I send them my blessings. I encourage anyone who finds they have special energy for those other victims to become a voice for them. However, I will follow the path that opens up.

Environmental issues and threats of extinction to animals have powerful voices crying out for them on the web. Sadly, a website on the day I am writing this found their supporters on primarily environmental websites and so far failed to reveal sites dedicated to the cause of the people who have lived harmoniously and protectively in the great rainforests for thousands of years. If you find a site, let me know.

As I learn I will increase the information I provide here. You can help me. If you know of a support organization that fits my intention, e-mail me and I can put in a link to their website. The list will grow and everyone who comes here will be able to see how vast a problem humanity has with the evil of people's cruelty to other people. If you can give me a link that visitors can follow please give it to me or at least enough information for me to find the organization and link to them.

Of course, my articles, poems and photos are copyright.
Google
They who try to destroy your soul
are so good at it,
knowing what horrors can break a mind.
Bodies are easy,
minds are harder;
only their own souls perish.
This site is dedicated to Sister Dianna Ortiz, an American nun who is a survivor of torture, because she is an amazing example of how extreme darkness can be transformed to a powerful light. Whatever evil moved certain people to harm her must be recoiling in fear at the light she has become against all the torturers on this planet. If you believe in any bright spiritual power ask it to build her strength for her own healing as well as the healing of others.

More about Sister Dianna is here.
